Agenda

  • Senate Bill 1026, Printers Number 1296– This legislation amends Title 34 (Game) for the implementation of a "Governor's Elk Tag."
    • A05415 amends legislation for the implementation of an "Elk Conservation Tag" in which an Elk Tag Conservation Advisory Committee is appointed to select a wildlife conservation organization to auction off a bull elk tag on an annual basis.
  • Technical Amendment to follow
  • Senate Bill 1200, Printers Number 1605– This legislation is an Act mandating that the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania to join the Interstate Wildlife Violator Compact.
  • House Bill 181, Printers Number 1851 – amends Title 34 (Game) by clarifying the law enforcement powers and duties of Game Commission Wildlife Conservation Officers and Deputy Conservation Officers.
  • House Bill 1523, Printers Number 2208 – amends Title (Game) to lower the allowable blood alcohol content (BAC) of adults for determination of hunting or furtaking under the influence if alcohol or controlled substance, and allows the Pennsylvania Game Commission to promulgate regulations regarding consent and administration of testing.
  • House Bill 1859, Printers Number 2445 - amends Title 34 (Game and Wildlife Code) to significantly increase fines and penalties for violations of the Code relating to assault of enforcement officers; illegal killing of game or wildlife; knowingly, intentionally or recklessly attempting, aiding, abetting, or conspiring in the killing of wildlife; illegal selling of game or animal parts; and trespass while hunting. The bill also makes significant changes in the Code relating to suspension, denial and revocation of licenses.
