PA Fish and Boat Commission Opens Fishing Hole Website

HARRISBURG – The Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission has opened a fishing hole website to improve the fishing experience for state residents, according to Senator Richard Alloway II (R-33).

The fishing hole website, www.fishandboat.com/inform.htm, includes information on fishing fundamentals, regulations, maps, stocking and how to obtain a fishing license.

The site also includes information on related topics, such as boating and conservation, and a reporting system for violations and pollution.

"This website should serve as a valuable resource for the thousands of state residents who enjoy fishing in Pennsylvania waterways," said Alloway, who chairs the Senate Game and Fisheries Committee. "The site is designed to offer information for individuals with any level of experience in fishing, and I would encourage all local residents to explore the site to learn more about one of our area’s most popular activities."
