Alloway Announces Upcoming Job Fair

HARRISBURG - Senator Richard Alloway II (R-33) will host the second annual "Here to Help" Job Fair on Thursday, April 12, 2012 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Chambersburg Mall, 3055 Black Gap Road, Chambersburg.

"I am proud to partner with FCADC, CareerLink and Chambersburg Mall in providing this opportunity for local employers and potential new employees to meet," Alloway said. "Given the positive feedback we received after last year's event, we know there is an interest in and need for another job fair."

Jobseekers should have resumes available and be prepared to complete applications on site. Various workshops will be offered throughout the day on a variety of topics, including resume preparation and interview skills. Local colleges and universities will be present at the job fair as will numerous human services providers. A new feature of this year's job fair is the opportunity for veterans to meet with a Veterans Employment Representative and obtain information on services and benefits for veterans.
